I decide: love, sex and death - A good day in Madrid

The Plot Point Room will host this spectacular work on stage until December 26.

A work with a simple appearance, but with a disruptive background. Its greatness lies in its aesthetic simplicity and its powerful message. There are few elements on stage and yet it takes you on a journey through different moments in the protagonist's life.

A journey that goes through deep reflections about life, love and sex. Through direct questions, it leads the audience to consider everything from another perspective.

A work that makes us reflect on the construction and principles of the current system. The protagonist's actions deconstruct reality and open a debate that will lead us to ask ourselves important life questions.

Perhaps we have become accustomed to social rules, we have them within us in such a way that we forget that there are other valid ways of doing the same thing. Are we indoctrinated into a system that takes us wherever it wants? Are we slaves to a unique way of doing things, forgetting the infinite possibilities that life offers?

A magnificent work, an excellent interpretation and a text that leads to reflection and deep questioning of our condition as humans.

A highly recommended show, that will not leave you indifferent. You will even think about watching it again to be able to retain every phrase, every lesson or every author that the wonderful protagonist mentions.

A journey through anthropology, experience and the return to what is essential, to our vulnerability, to the simplicity of being what we are: social animals.

Asshole, I want your child

Real respect for the choices of others with all the consequences. This is the maximum premise that we will find in the play ¨Capullo, I want a son of yours¨. A work that, in a humorous way, reviews how we look for solutions to situations that do not seem to have a good solution. And after a truly successful first season, the work returns to the AZarte room, Calle San Marcos, 19.…

La Chocita del Loro celebrates its 20th anniversary

Here's to the first 20, and all those on the way! In 1998 they realized, in La Chocita del Loro, that when a person laughs because he is happy, he generates beneficial substances for his body. Laughter is a privilege of the human being; Not only because laughing produces enormous well-being for people; According to Sigmund Freud, laughter, especially out loud, helps release negative energy. From La Chocita del Loro, they have been helping to release that negative energy that…

End?

Relationships After the success obtained with A Night Like That, (which was on the Madrid billboard for more than 3 seasons and seen by more than 15.000 viewers), the actor, director and playwright Nacho Redondo once again offers us a text about the true nature of feelings. About a couple's journey to the cliff. About what we are willing to do to not walk alone. The established screenwriter and director David Planell directs this work that stars the young actress Silvia Vacas along with the…

Jorge Blass: The art of Magic

Expired event A review of his tricks from previous shows Jorge Blass returns to the Compac Gran Vía theater in Madrid for 3 weeks with his "new" show 'The Art of Magic'. And I put "new" in quotes because, although they are entertaining and surprising tricks, we will not see anything new that we have not seen in Birbibirloque, his previous show from 2012. For about 90 minutes Jorge Blass shows off his best tricks, which…

Love is not a story of…

Polyamory as a flag How does the dichotomy between the sentimental and the sexual arise? Is there a person who can satisfy all your needs and desires? This is what "Amor is not a story of..." tries to explain, an artistic proposal that fuses theater, dance, music and multimedia elements, directed by Carolina Touceda.Amor is not a story of... aims to deconstruct the term 'love' as we know it.
